Fate of a Murdered Person
Question asked by Hanane Lotfi.
Posted on: Sunday, February 6, 2005 - Hits: 865
Question:
Is it correct that if one gets murdered one goes to heaven?
Answer:
We do not believe that every murdered person will go to heaven. Everyone has to die and the form of death one meets does not render all his life actions and beliefs unaccounted for. The Holy Qur'an has clearly indicated that life on earth is a trial for us, and that on the Last Day, we will be held accountable for every deed we perform and every belief we profess. However, if we lead our life according to Divine guidance and cling to the truth in all circumstances and die in this state we will be rewarded with Paradise as an everlasting abode.
