Dealing with a Gay Husband

Question:
My simple question is that if I know that my husband is gay, then what should be my attitude towards him. I have already pointed out this to him but he denys. Please help me in this regard and tell me what to do.
Answer:
I am sorry to hear about this situation. May Almighty Allah help your husband mend his ways and keep your union for life.

I would suggest that you discuss this issue with your husband not as accusation but as a friendly counsel. You can also take help from your mutual friends and family elders if you are not able to convince him. You can also seek the advice of a doctor is possible.

Finally, if nothing works out and it you find yourself unable to continue with such a person, you can even seek divorce from him. However, before going for this option one must exhaust all other possible ways of correction because the entire family is at stake. You should also know that it is not essential for you to seek divorce.

It is ultimately upon you to decide what to do.
