The idea to travel around is great! There is no need to be confused!.

The group in question must have other girls as well. You can spend time with them; kid them and tease them! It is perfectly okay. If merely leaving the boundaries of home entailed attracting attention, women would not be allowed to go for the prayer in a mosque or to travel a long distance to perform Hajj. One however must be careful that no inappropriate communication is undertaken with boys, which may give them false notions, if they are included in the group.
