Shoot & killing animals in ones yard haram?
Is it haram to shoot/kill small animals(squirrels) because they are digging up ones lawn,flowers,and eating the vegetables from ones garden? Do you know of any hadith or ayats from the Quran which could be given to someone who continues to do this and thinks it is okay? I thought we were not to kill animals other than for food or self defense.
They feel they have the right because it is protecting their property. Am I wrong? This person does not live on a farm. There are too many to keep carrying away in traps. Powders and sprays aren't working. Plus I think it is illegal, here in the US. |
