It is worth considering!

Therefore, Islam takes the preventive measure rather than suffers the consequences. This is also one of the principles of Islamic Jurisprudence, namely ‘blocking the means’ (sadd al-dhara'i). This is based on the idea of preventing an evil before it actually materializes, and is taken from the heart of the guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah that, “Preventing harm is given precedence even to achieving possible benefits”

**IT IS WORTH CONSIDERING!!!!!!!!

[(29: 45] Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer; surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest, and Allah knows what you do.

One of the benefits of prayers is to keep us away from indecency and evil and similarly do the fasting and other Ibada’t too. SO THE PREVENTION SEEMS TO BE MANDATORY.

Only God knows the best!
