Helping the Helpers. Earthquake

All this is indeed heart rending. May we all learn a lesson from such reminders.
We send our heartiest condolences and prayers for everyone effected by this disaster; various relief funds have been setup in the UK at local and national level.
UK chapter members can send their donations into one of them or directly into the President's Relief Fund. They have been generous in the past at such occasions all over the world including Tsunami and the Hurricanes in the U.S. and I'm sure none needs a reminder but we are sending a mass request email to the regional members.
The Queen has sent her condolences and an aircraft with medical help has already left Britain to the effected region besides the financial help. |

We have received various postings on our forums giving info re: donations. Thank you all for the very useful and timely information. j.k.
Also as you all have received the email from Studying Islam, we are arranging helicopter shipments to the victims of these areas where members of our team will go and personally distribute various goods and items.
Insha allah, the next helicopter shipments are due to leave on Saturday the 16th of this month. A third one will leave around the 20th.
Those interested may send an email to serving.humanity@gmail.com and ofcourse what more can be powerful and helping than a timely prayer for the ones who are suffering.
We pay millions of thanks to God for the peace and comfort we enjoy in our homes as indeed we did nothing better to deserve all this; & may He forgive us all. amen |

AL-hamduillah, we found a method of getting doctors and trained medical staff to Pakistan at no expense to them. Inshallah we can also get payment for their time out in Pakistan. So if you know of any Doctors who wish to help in Pakistan please contact me on 0044- 07802 407045.
All arrangements will be handled for the individuals concerned here and in Pakistan, Visa's have also been arranged, so we just need the trained personnel Inshallah.
