With The Name of ALLAH, The Infinitely Merciful, The Ever Merciful.
Assalam-u-allaikum! (peace/safety be upon you)
A Global English Islamic Channel is urgently required ! Where there is a will there is a way !
This channel should be a digital TV channel that broadcasts 24 hours a day and the schedule is of 8 hours repeated thrice a day.
That is to ensure that every one interested can access his favourite programme . He can easily choose 1 of the repeated schedules.
This channel should be powerful enough to be broadcasted and accessed in any part of the world.
For this donations of Muslims worldwide can be easily taken....once they are convinced that this is not one organization's TV channel but the Muslims common channel and reminded that they will be given equal oppurtunity in deciding the programmes that air by a unique method of voting + argument (in support of the view) , they should be given the oppurtunity to suggest their favourite programmes and also give the reasons why this programme should be aired on the channel. As far as I know Dr. Zakir Naik ( www.irf.net ) comparative religion lectures are very popular, Harun Yahya's (www.harunyahya.com , videos section) compact well prepared documentaries are very popular. Qur'anic Arabic vocabulary, vocabulary root words and their different variations in the Qur'an, Qur'anic Arabic Grammer, Qur'anic interpretation video lectures, The "likely Authentic Hadith" verifier formula research (still to be finalized) and other lectures and documentaries can be finalized .
I suggest the name " Islam ".
English language is the best choice.
