May Allah reward you for accepting Islam. If you were married to your husband by your consent and this marriage was known to all people around you, you do not need to remarry again. In Islam, there are three main conditions to fulfill for marriage.

1. Consent of both persons
2. Proclaimation in the society that the couple from now on shoud be considered as wedded couple.
3. Payment of Mehr dowry by the husband to the wife.

If these conditions are compiled with before marriage, your marriage is already valid.

Dear Sister
wa Alaikum us Salam, I want to know that if you are able to read URDU then I can send you a short & easy Booklet as a word doc. Otherwise there are many Tajweed CDs are available now. You can get help from anyone of those e.g. Quran cd of Sakhar & please feel free to mail me at hibrahim@wol.net.pk if you need my help in understanding anything related to TAJWEED.

Salaam aliquem to all my Brothers and Sisters, I am here to say that I am so LAZY. I accepted Islam and I proudly wear my hijab here in America and I pray my 5 salaats and some times more as needed, I read Quran, and I practice charity. I am lazy that I can't remember the Arabic. I have so many books, tapes, CD's and CD-Rom's. I don't know why it is so hard for me to pick up this beautiful language. Can anyone offer me any suggestions or techniques. I thank you in advance for your time and understanding.

Dear Sister in Islam
As Salam u Alaikum

Arabic is not a difficult language. If you are good in URDU then to know the basics of Arabic aren't difficult at all. You need only to be a bit more committed & u know, without efforts ONE can't acheive something.
Am I RIGHT?

Dear Brother Adnan
Amin for your Pray for us.
You've posted your Question at a very ODD place, never the less here is what you've asked for:
Month of Sha'baan has nothing special in itself. Our holy prophet (pbuh) has used it for the preparation of Ramadan.
On the Other hand, Ramadan is probabaly the most important month as it is the month of FASTING.
I'm not sure what do you want to know MORE about them.

I would like to extend my thanks to Dr Henna and the Studying Islam team. The website is both interesting and highly educative at the same time - something that is hard to do!

"Praise be to Allah to Whom belong all things in the heavens and on earth: to Him be Praise in the Hereafter: and He is Full of Wisdom acquainted with all things. " 34:1

Jazak Allah
