Assalamu Alaikum I have completed my course. one of the question asked in quiz was ,"The Shari‘ah does not prohibit Muslims from using:" In this the option given are: shoes made out of pig hides, hat made out of dead goat , alcohol in perfume and all the above. the answer is all the above. My question is that in study material for module 2 in section II it is given: "The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses. "
So is it allowed for muslims to touch the carcasses or use things made out of dead pig or dead goat? And also to use alcoholic perfume.... Also i would like to know that when will get my certificate .
Wasalaam

wa alaikum us salaam dear sister in Islam
congrates on the completion of the course. Sorry for a late response. Hope u've rcvd ur certificate until now. Yes only the eating of Pig or any Forbiden thing is that must not be done in normal cases. However other uses of these things are allowed. It's said that alcohol is used to preserve the perfume and it evaporates v soon after the use of it, so there is no harm in usinf such perfumes.
