Can I ask Dua not to have a Daughter
Assalamoeleikumwarahmayullahe wabarakatuhu
I am expecting a baby and I wanted to know is it ok if I ask Allah to give me a son or will iit be a thanklessness. I see all the wrong things happening to girls and women in my country, suppression,ignoring rights, deprivation from education. So I don't want to have a daughter who will go through all this in this society |

It's really v nice to know about it. May Allah keep you & ur baby healty. Amin
There's no harm in carry on praying for baby boy. May Allah fulfil your wish. Amin But be ready for the opposite whole heartedly.
I agree with your thoughts about girls but will not agree to this that it's a valid reason for praying against baby girl. As Muslims we must always ask from Allah for what that is BEST for us here in this world & also on the Last Day. |
