first revelation
salam alikum
i read in the book al sira an nabiya by ibn kathir which tranlated by lagasik. obey there ,prophet sw said in one hadith that ,i was in slaep when angel jibreal came . now i am confuse wheter he was in sleap or wake when he recive first revelatuion .pleease give me the all hadith that said about first revelation. give me the comentary of this hadith by scholar . everythings . so i can satisfy my heart. |

| Please read the Hadith of the Bukhari in Module 2 of the course 'Revelation of the Qur'an'. It says that the Prophet, sws, was awake when he received the first Wahy of the initial verses of the Surah 'Alaq. |

| but i think its so wrong .bcaz at the time of first reveelation.our prophet sal sleeping at thet time ruhul guthus(jibreal)arrived that place.at the time our prophet sal feared and asked aysha to covered him with a full of cloth.the next day our prophet sal and aysha went to see his relatives. that the time only that relatives said our prophet mohamed sal plz mohamed dont feared about that bacz its from allah so plz try to watch the sound direction |
