meanwhile I'm looking and discussing ur raised example and Qs w sm colleagues i hv a Q 4 U. where in ur opinion Human Services be put instead of production as this is a huge source of income and it can't be exempted fm Zakat? regards
Dear Ibrahim Sahib, Thank you for your consideration. I am also thankful for your useful question that where human services should be placed for the purpose of Zakat. Before giving any opinion I would like to make it clear that these have never been exempted from Zakat even in the existing system of zakat because these automatically come under the zakat net when zakat on wealth/Money/Savings is calculated and paid by any individual. It is very clear that anyone who is a professional and working as salaried or non-salaried individual (Like lawyers or doctors who are providing services in individual capacity) has employment or profession as sole or main source of income which contributes to his her wealth/money/savings. Hence in my opinion produce of individuals needs not to be treated as produce of land is treated because it is already treated in Zakat on Mall. In my second opinion individual human services need not to be treated separately as produce because these are already treated for Zakat while calculating Zakat for the employing business. Same point I have also made clear in the previous example which is under your consideration. Regards
