Asalaamu Alaykum, I'd like to query the meaning of the following phrase (The Prayer - Module 1 - para 1) ..."The prayer is nothing but an expression of these manifestations and, with graceful poise, combines all of them." The issue I have is with the phrase "..nothing but...". To me this indicates that prayer is 'merely' an 'expression' of something else and has nothing intrinsic. I beleive that prayer is more than just an expression, that it is an actual engagement or communication with Allah. Perhaps the sentence could be better phrased as "The form of prayer is nothing but ... ". I hope you can appreciate the difference and I offer it for your consideration.
