Assalamu Alaikum I have completed my course. one of the question asked in quiz was ,"The Shari‘ah does not prohibit Muslims from using:" In this the option given are: shoes made out of pig hides, hat made out of dead goat , alcohol in perfume and all the above. the answer is all the above. My question is that in study material for module 2 in section II it is given: "The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses. " So is it allowed for muslims to touch the carcasses or use things made out of dead pig or dead goat? And also to use alcoholic perfume.... Also i would like to know that when will get my certificate . Wasalaam Edited by: umaira on Friday, May 21, 2010 6:06 AM
