Where To Spend!!

Wherever one spends, his/her heart gets entangled to that place/cause

e.g. if one engages the money in a buisness, shares etc. one would naturally keep updating himself about latest happenings/progress/loss/benefit, etc.

If he has stored the money in a bank, he would keep an eye on statements, profit and balance.

Jesus/Essa PBUH therefore adviced once that keep your treasures with your Lord so that your heart remains entwined there.

Today if we spend our earnings in His Cause, we will automatically feel more attached to Him.

How can we spend in His Way?

It could be by helping a needy, be it a relative, a neighbour, a wayfarer, an orphan, parents of a lady waiting to get married, a student, etc.

And we must not forget that spending to help the scholars working hard to spread His Deen, the Qura’n and The Messengers’ Message is also counted as spending in God’s Way.

Spending in Allah’s way does not only bring one close to God but also to His people.

But we must keep in mind that there could be an evil aspect to this good deed . One should never anticipate reward from the ones he has helped by spending his money. He must be clear in mind that this was done for His pleasure only and look forward to reward from Him alone. (adapted from Tazkiya e nafs by Amin Islahi sb)

We need to be lucid regarding the capacities included in the subject.
Generally our muslim brothers and sisters think that this could b only for building a mosque or for orphanage etc. Of-course these are the ways for sure where if one spends with right intention, will be rewarded by the Lord in here and Hereafter;
but we must not ignore a very important fact in this regard i.e. calls of those who are working in Allah's way; be it jihad/struggle of any kind
be it struggle/jihad with their pens (jihad bil qalam).

We cannot ignore the importance of spreading the Truth through media in today's age; when evil is being spread with all its might.
Millions of dollars are being spent for this purpose.
Ponography, drugs and war immunition are the three biggest sources of money making today. People spend on these with closed eyes.

Throwing money to show-off is a part of fashion today. Recently a number plate was sold in Berks, UK for 65,000 pounds for the mere fact that it reads K 1NG (king)!!

How much do we spend for our other matters?
Shopping least at a supermarket for a week costs most of us atleast $100; where we cannot justify every bit that we buy.

Would it be very hard then to set aside atleast $10 a week to spend for the cause of Good; or if we spend a 1000 or 2000 Rs. for same, is it impossible or too hard to spend 100 or 200 Rs.every week for this purpose?
Whereas we know this is what will be saved and what we spend for this dunya/world, be it food, clothing, decors, cosmetics, entertainments, pets; all is gone; once and for all.

We ought to remember that even a penny can overcome hundreds as per our intention as the beloved sws spread the dates presented by a labourer over all the collections because of the love he had and the hard earned dates he offered!

We just have to intend; Lord Himself will spend for us.

"And march forthin the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord and for Paradise as wide as the Heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun(the pious/God aware/God concious)" Surah 3, v: 133

One who treads the path of knowledge, Allah makes path of Paradise easy for him/her
